MAKEUP

We combine artistic interpretation, knowledge, and skill with classic, elegant, casual and modern looks to create the perfect look for you. Whether you’re coming for bridal makeup, a photoshoot, or just want to look your best for a special occasion, we’ll create the look that best reflects your personal style.

To airbrush, or not to airbrush?

Airbrush makeup is very “hot” or trendy right now, but it is not a “one size fits all” service. What works well for one bride might be terrible for another. That’s why I will never say that airbrush makeup is better than traditional makeup. The choice between airbrush makeup and traditional makeup should be made based on your personal skin needs and not what is popular.

If your skin is on the drier side, airbrush makeup can sometimes look “cakey” once applied. If you’ve got well hydrated, clear, moisturized skin, airbrush makeup will look great on you. Airbrush makeup is lightweight and has a veil-like finish, so if you want full coverage, traditional makeup might work better.

Traditional makeup foundations have a wider range of formulations, and some of them are designed to hide blemishes and help with imperfections on the skin. At the end of the day, your personal preferences should be discussed with your makeup artist, and the two of you can decide what works best for your skin.
